Most of the modern technologies these days use electric motors to execute their functions. Electric motors have magnets that generate electricity. AC is used in operating small industrial machines. They have special utilization techniques as AC electrical supply could not have large current. The DC electrical supply is mostly used in factories as it could handle large scope of operations and functions. DC also can give large amount of electrical supply.

Since AC is usually used in home settings, thus it covers a lot of household equipments. This is the reason why there is a high demand for repair AC motors.

Although AC is just a small scale of electric current, but still it involves electricity, therefore it should not be taken for granted.
