Oil Furnace Review - Which is the Right Oil Furnace For You?

Your old unit is bad or you are thinking about installing a new oil furnace. You have received a few quotes from different contractors. They all are telling you that they have the best unit on the market today. They will try to sell you on the reliability or the thickness of the heat exchanger, the quietness of the unit and many of the other sales gimmicks that they have come up with. What is the best way to tell which furnace will be the best one for you?

Want to know a little secret that many salesmen either do not want to tell you? This is something that they do not want you to know. Basically all of the oil furnaces on the market today are the same! Yes, that is the bottom line. A few manufacturers make most of the furnaces and then just place the different brand names on the furnace as it is boxed up.

So when the sales guy for brand X tells you that his furnace is better than brand Y, you now know that he is just giving you a line. There is a good chance that they both have come off of the same assembly line.

So what makes the difference in the brands? The person that designs your heating system is the person that will make it good or bad. Also, the one that installs your furnace can make it a great deal or a bad one. If you are in the market for a new oil furnace, make sure that you get references and go to look at the jobs they have done in the past. Any good company or installer should have plenty of satisfied customers that will be more than happy to give a glowing review of their work.

The thing to remember always is that most all of the equipment manufactured is good stuff. The people that design and install the equipment are what makes the oil heating equipment good or bad.
