Air conditioning is man-made equipment used to reduce the temperature, humidity and control the temperature of the air. Air condition works same as the heating equipment. It is used almost in all places including commercial, residential and industrial sector.
It functions with the combination of a compressor, condenser and evaporator.
It uses different types of air conditioning systems such as conventional forced air system and high velocity air system.
Conventional forced air systems works on the principle of diffusion and the higher velocity works on the principle of aspiration.
Types of air conditioning
High velocity air system delivers air to the entire room of a higher velocity. It circulates the cooled air throughout the room by creating air currents. By the greater aspiration the quality that is circulated are kept in best quality.
With the usage of this, there is less chance of stagnation and temperature fluctuation in the interior of the room. In a high velocity air system, a small tube is used which results in lower impact on existing space.
Distinguishing conventional and high velocity air system
Between them, it can be fitted easily and also in more location. But the conventional system requires metal ductwork, so they have limits to go.
Moreover it moves slowly in the room but the high velocity air system circulates the air throughout the room intensively. This higher velocity conditioning system maintains a constant temperature throughout the room.
High velocity air system passes the air through a smaller passage so there would be relatively more noise when compared to the conventional system. It requires small vents to supply the quality conditioning.
At the same time it requires only one vent for the entire house instead of one per room. It uses more engineered tubing due to the passage of the air in a smaller vent.
In correspondence with the future most of them would prefer the system which would last for a life time.
To lead a comfortable life people would always prefer the beneficial way of air conditioning for their home or office. Higher velocity system has more advantages when compared with the conventional system.
At the same time, it gives more stress on the mechanical components of the system as they use a small tubing system. But this requires only a powerful air handler to achieve the same output.
While comparing the price too, high velocity system is much cheaper when compared to the conventional system.
